M2i Review and Rating
5/5 Built in 2005 230 unitsM2i Condos, Lofts, and Penthouses in the Downtown San Diego’s East Village have unique urban appointments with spatial floor plans, higher ceilings, exposed elements, and concrete construction. M2i was delivered in 2005 by developer Citymark and consists of two mid-rise buildings with separate entrances and a total of 230 units. The building takes up the whole block between Market Street, Island Street, 10th Avenue, and 11th Avenue leaving a lush landscaped inner courtyard and floor plans with both courtyard and street exposure.
The original owners of M2i Lofts had the opportunity to leave the floor plans open or to build one or two bedrooms (depending on the size of the unit). Originally, the units were developed as an open canvas with only the bathrooms built out. Today, many lofts have been designed to have more of a condo feel, but they have all preserved the loft style warehouse feel that is well-known among Downtown San Diego Real Estate buyers.
M2i offers lower HOA fees, has a fully equipped fitness center, a 7th floor south facing roof deck with a fireplace, BBQ’s, and sitting area, a secure underground parking lot, and an overall secure building. The building sits in the middle of the East Village with close proximity to Petco Park, Jefferson Law School, the new Downtown San Diego Library, and the Gaslamp with its well-known fine dining, bars, and entertainment.
