Element Condos in Downtown San Diego’s East Village
Low HOA Fees and Contemporary Feel5/5 Posted on November 12, 2013 by Pete Thistle.
Element Condos are located on the outskirt of the East Village neighborhood in Downtown San Diego and is a pretty small community with a total of 65 condos. The building has a contemporary feel with an inviting lobby entrance that has fobbed access and a call box for guests.
These East Village Condos has been attractive to Downtown San Diego Real Estate investors who wanted to buy a lower priced home in this area as the new Charger Stadium might be built just a block away. They have seen the value in Element Condos due to this fact along with easy access to the 5 freeway and the short few blocks walking distance from Petco Park and the vibrant Gaslamp Quarter. Another point of view are the lower homeowner fees compared to nearby East Village Condos and Lofts.
This part of the East Village is still in transition and will slowly become as developed as the area right next to Petco Park. As an investor at this time, noise impact will be something to take into consideration before deciding to buy at Element.
Element was delivered by Centex Homes in 2006 and has a contemporary and modern design with concrete construction. The homeowner fees include the fully gated and secure complex, a bicycle room, a spa and deck area along with a underground parking structure.
Right across the street from the building lays, Albertsons, one of the largest grocery stores in Downtown. The new Downtown San Diego Main Library just opened its doors a couple months ago and you will find this social gathering area on your way west towards Petco Park, the new Jefferson Law School and everything else that Downtown San Diego has to offer.
