Lusso Lofts located in Downtown San Diego’s Little Italy

Lusso Lofts located in Downtown San Diego’s Little Italy Lusso Lofts are located at 1601 Kettner Blvd in the Little Italy neighborhood in Downtown San Diego.  This neighborhood is the only true ethnic Italian inspired district in the city. The Lusso Loft building was converted from an apartment structure into a loft style building in 2001 by the award winning architect Jonathan Segal.

These urban live/work lofts have private alley or street level entrances along with two story loft style designs. Living at Lusso Loft kind of feel like having a single family home due to the lack of elevators, corridors and common entrances.

The homeowner’s fees are very low due to that the only amenity is the common courtyard area. They start in the low $100 up to the $200 per month range. Some of the homes have recently been renovated with energy efficient heating and AC systems, new paint and new fixtures.

This mid-rise building has a total of 4 floors and 31 lofts which leaves Lusso Lofts to be one of the smallest condo communities in the Little Italy neighborhood. Anyone looking for a Little Italy Loft with a small community feel, a live/work loft floor plan and lots of privacy would be a great fit for a Lusso Loft home.

A short walk away from Lusso Lofts lays the main street India which is filled with small coffee shops, bakeries and fine Italian dining along with the waterfront, the historical Gaslamp District and fun game days at Petco Park in the East Village.
