Gaslamp City Square Condos have a superb location in a mid-rise building that sits right in the middle of the historic Gaslamp Quarter. Gaslamp City Square encompasses the corners of J Street, Island Street, and 4th , and 5th Avenues. There are a total of 88 Gaslamp City Square Condos divided among six stories. The complex takes up the whole city block and surrounds an inner courtyard with a pool, BBQs and Spa and has a fitness center located in the building along with underground secure parking.

This urban development was delivered in 2004 by K. Hovnanian and has more of an apartment style feel with a variety of different floor plans. There are two different entrances, one on Island Avenue and the other on J Street. Both are fobbed accessed and secure. Gaslamp City Square has lower priced HOA fees compared to other Downtown San Diego Condos even though the amenities offered here would be more common in a luxury building.
